The FAST blister line is Marchesini's answer to customers who need to process large production lots at high speeds.

The line boasts a number of strongholds: MB460 FAST is first and foremost the fastest ever blister packaging machine ever to be produced by Marchesini and is capable of packaging over 720 blisters per minute. It consists of a continuous motion thermoformer managed completely by a PC and by servomotors. The connection system between the blister packaging machine and the cartoner is innovative and can indeed be replaced in one single block, thanks to a simple trolley, in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, the amazing novelty presented at Interpack is the possibility to change the machine's configuration from two to three channels and vice versa.

These features guarantee high production speeds and outstanding flexibility. The machine does indeed enable fast and simple modification of the line's setup and not just to change size, just as quickly: in a mere 30 minutes, you can consequently setup the line with a different pitch and different configurations. Then, once the connection unit has been replaced, the line is ready to start again straightaway without having to make any other size change adjustments. Positive motion blister conveyance, without any in-between steps, prevents the product from getting damaged during the packaging phases. The carton magazine is bigger. All the stacking styles required are possible, within the limits of the cartoning machine.

The line is incredibly compact as opposed to a conventionally combined line and a separation wall can be installed between the blister packaging machine and the cartoner. Last but not least, the line is very quiet and the product loading, sealing, coding and shearing zones are built with ergonomic balcony design, which makes it easier to clean and change size.
