With Amazon Prime Day finally here, we've set our eyes on the Fire 7 tablets, which are the cheapest of the bunch, but they're also great for beginners.

Saving more than half the price of the Fire tablet on some models, you should know we have the model from 2019 on the list, Fire 7. Whichever one you end up choosing, this is still a great tablet to have.

The Fire 7 tablet is one of Amazon's best-sellers and it's easy to understand why, seeing the price and all that it has to offer. The tablet features a 7" IPS display and you can get it with either 16 or 32 GB of internal storage space. You can bump that limit with a micro SD card with a limit of 512 GB.

Fire 7 features a 1.3 HGz quad-core processor which allows it to work fairly fast when responding to your inputs, whether that's launching a new, switching between them, or playing games.

You'll get to use the tablet for up to seven hours before it needs a new charge. The up-time takes into consideration everything from browsing, watching videos, reading, or listening to music. Battery life may be shorter for heavy games, however.

The tablet also features a couple of 2 MP front and rear-facing cameras, which aren't the best, but they exist nonetheless. The best part is that you'll get easy access to Alexa, however, so if she's your go-to personal assistant, this will work great for you.

The Fire 7 Kids tablets come with kid-proof cases, so they'll survive the inevitable drops.
